PLATFORM centre is pleased to announce If You Have a Similar Story Keep it to Yourself, a solo exhibition featuring the work of Bridget Moser (ON). The show runs from 25 May–06 July 2018 with an opening reception scheduled for Friday 25 May at 7 PM and an artist talk at 1 PM on Saturday 26 May. The artist will also return to Winnipeg to give a live performance on Wednesday 20 June at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. All events are free and open to the public. This exhibition also features critical writing from Shawna Dempsey (MB).

Bridget Moser is a performance and video artist whose work is suspended between prop comedy, experimental theatre, performance art, absurd literature, existential crisis and intuitive dance. Her work looks ironically at contemporary culture and complex anxieties. She works with pop music, her own body and banal everyday objects like chairs, masks, bedsheets, hairdryers, shower curtains, etc—to create original and intelligent works. Moser captivates her audiences by creating works that question and examine the relationships between consumer and product, inner and outer thoughts, and contemporary notions of wellbeing and self-help techniques. At PLATFORM Moser will exhibit three works; I Think I Lost It (2018), Every Room is a Waiting Room Part 1 (2017), and How Does It Feel (2016).
