Always Moving Forward Contemporary African Photography from the Wedge Collection is a collaboration between three centres, and marks the exhibition that toured to each centre: Gallery 44 Centre for Contemporary Photography, May 01 – 29, 2010; PLATFORM centre for photographic + digital arts, November 3 – December 10, 2011; and, Art Gallery of Peterborough, January 13 – March 4, 2012.

The exhibition was curated by Kenneth Montague. It includes artwork by: Mohamed Bourouissa, Mohamed Camara, Calvin Dondo, Samuel Fosso, Hassan Hajjaj, Bouchra Khalili, Antony Kimani, Lebohang Mashiloane, Aida Muluneh, Dawit L.
