PLATFORM has commissioned Carmen Hathaway to create a new media, interactive web-based project titled ARCANA to be included in the group exhibition, RITUALIZ’D in June 2010. In ARCANA the artist explores the legacy of several sets of tarot cards painted and illustrated by her maternal grandmother in the early 1900s in Europe.
